Training programmes

Rural Services Scotland is a LANTRA Awards Approved Centre offering practical training for land-based and related industries throughout Scotland.  Training is planned locally around your own work schedule and in small groups so specific needs can be met.

Training can be delivered on-site or at a convenient location for your staff to attend.  We provide a comprehensive range of quality courses for individuals working in agriculture, horticulture and forstry.  LANTRA certificated courses are mainly legislative courses including Abrasive Wheels and Welding, ATVs. Brush cutters, Chainsaw, Forklift trucks, MEWPS, Pesticides, Vermin Control (RAMPS UK).  Once completed, we can arrange for NPTC assessment and certification for the Chainsaw, Pesticides and Vermin Control training.  Rural Services Scotland also have their own forestry accepted Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry Course, for those working in the forestry environment.

RSS can call on a number of very qualified trainers to ensure that you and your staff get the best training courses, delivered on time and at an acceptable cost.  NPORS courses for 360o Excavators and 180o Backactor Diggers are also available to be sourced through our office.
